At DryBrook, we strive to breed quality warmbloods, with expressive gaits and excellent temperaments
We select the very best stallions to complement our mares. We look for the Wow factor.
It is our goal to breed top level performance horses with great minds and high rideablity. I started our breeding program when my daughters were children and young riders showing Connemaras. As my daughters grew so did the size of the horses they needed and our program evolved. Blessed by mentoring of experienced stallion owners and programs, I began researching German and Dutch bloodlines and to acquiring the highest quality broodmares to accomplish our goals and dreams. It is our passion to breed athletic horses with good minds, that possess talent for professionals, ambitious AA and young riders, who desire showing at the highest levels.
From one generation to the next
My daughter, Emily Shields, a USDF Bronze Medalist, handles all of our youngstock daily and has successfully handled our youngstock to National success.
